Position Requirements Description Per Diem CAA positions available. Support this large practice in Macon, GA, as a CAA with flexible schedules and diverse case mix under a care team model. This practice offers a full array of anesthesia services for Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center. This Macon, GA-based facility is recognized for excellence on a national level and is among the premier teaching hospitals in the United States. As the second-largest hospital in Georgia, it has 637 licensed beds for medical surgical, cardiac surgery, trauma treatment, and pediatrics. The facility has a Level I Trauma Center; a children’s hospital built in 2019; 34 operating rooms and several ancillary suites; and a stand-alone outpatient facility. The practice consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists including CRNAs and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) who all work together in a care team model. Total Rewards Hourly Rate: $200/hour • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Case Assignments • General surgery, cardiac, pediatrics, OB and GYN services, ortho, trauma, plastics, ENT, urology, and neurosurgery Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program • Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, $200/hour, Per Diem EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
