Position Requirements Description The 244-bed, all private room HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital facility was founded in 1878 by three Hospital Sisters of St. Francis. Today, it combines modern technology with the founding spirit of the hospital. Situated on an attractive 21-acre campus, it overlooks Lake Decatur and offers a broad spectrum of comprehensive health services. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Decatur, Anesthesiologist EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
