Position Requirements Description Night float OB Anesthesiologist opening to practice with a collaborative team at UPMC Hamot (26 weeks per year). The first of its kind in northwestern Pennsylvania, Magee-Womens, UPMC Hamot is a state-of-the-art facility in devoted to meeting the health care needs of women and infants in the greater Erie community. The women’s hospital brings together a highly skilled team of health experts offering a comprehensive range of specialties, from obstetrics, neonatology, and gynecology to urogynecology, gynecologic-oncology, infertility, plastic surgery, and breast health. The anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgeons at UPMC Hamot have an excellent rapport. Together, our team works in a care team model approach. One week on and one week off. This is a 26-week position. The OB coverage would be in-house at the Women’s Hospital. • OB Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) UPMC Hamot Medical Center, $565K, $75K Sign on Incentive EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
