Job Requirements Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / PRN Adult patient population Wisdom teeth extractions and sedated general dentistry Outpatient dental clinic setting No call, nights, weekends, or holidays Predictable procedural schedule- PRN Experienced dental and clinical support team Responsibilities Provide deep sedation and general anesthesia for adult dental procedures Complete pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans Independently manage patient airways and intraoperative monitoring Oversee safe recovery and discharge following anesthesia Respond appropriately to any anesthesia-related complications or emergencies Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation Requirements MD or DO with an active, unrestricted TX medical license Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology Current ACLS and BLS certifications Active DEA registration Strong airway-management skills Experience in outpatient, ambulatory, oral surgery, or dental anesthesia preferred
