Position Requirements Description Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team at Navicent, Macon GA. Our practice offers a full array of anesthesia services for Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center. This facility is recognized for excellence on a national level and is among the premier teaching hospitals in the United States. As the second-largest hospital in Georgia, it has 637 licensed beds for medical surgical, cardiac surgery, trauma treatment, and pediatrics. The facility has a Level I Trauma Center, a children’s hospital built in 2019, 34 operating rooms and several ancillary suites, and a stand-alone outpatient facility. The practice consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists, including CRNAs and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) who all work together in a care team model. Total Rewards Salary: $565K Sign on Incentives: $50K or $75K if Peds Capable Comprehensive benefits package: • Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Generous paid time off • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Loan repayment & training assistance available Case Assignments & Schedule • Schedule: Call: 7:00pm-7:00am provides 2 days post call off. • General surgery, cardiac, pediatrics, OB and GYN services, ortho, trauma, plastics, ENT, urology, and neurosurgery Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, $565K, $50K-$75K in Sign-on Incentives EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
