Erlanger Baroness Hospital is the downtown Chattanooga tertiary referral hospital of Erlanger Health, an academic system affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, and is the region's only Level I trauma center. Anesthesia is provided in a collaborative care team model with a large CRNA and anesthesiologist staff administering tens of thousands of anesthetics annually across trauma and complex surgical cases.
