UnityPoint Health - Meriter is a non-profit tertiary teaching hospital in downtown Madison serving south-central Wisconsin. It is the birthing hospital for the region with a high-volume Family Health Center, a Level III NICU, and inpatient behavioral health and rehabilitation services alongside general medical-surgical, orthopedic, cardiac and GI care. Anesthesiology supports labor and delivery, the operating rooms, endoscopy and interventional procedural areas. Meriter partners closely with UW Health and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for physician staffing and graduate medical education.
