Position Requirements Description 26 Weeks On/26 Weeks Off Anesthesiologist opportunity with thriving anesthesia practice in Fayetteville, NC at Cape Fear Medical Center. As a part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, serving communities throughout southeastern North Carolina, the private, nonprofit healthcare system is North Carolina’s eighth-largest health network. Facilities include Betsy Johnson Hospital, Bladen County Hospital, Central Harnett Hospital, Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, and Hoke Hospital. The system also encompasses Behavioral Health Services of Cape Fear Valley, the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center, and several medical clinics and offices in the region. Annually, it serves approximately 1 million patients. Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work in an anesthesia care team model approach. This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence. Monday - Sunday, 7pm - 7am • Cardiac, pediatrics, OB-GYN, general, plastics, urology, vascular Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, $650K, $100K Sign-on Incentives EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
