Salem Hospital is a not-for-profit medical center of roughly 644 beds serving the mid-Willamette Valley and functions as a Level II trauma center and Life Flight hub. Its anesthesiology department supports one of the busiest surgical programs in the region, with cases spanning trauma, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, cardiothoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, vascular and general surgery. CRNAs work in a team-based care model alongside anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs.
