Rex is a private, not-for-profit hospital affiliated with the UNC Health Care System. The hospital consists of 660 beds including a heart center, family birth center, cancer center, convalescent care center, adult care center, and wellness center. The main campus has approximately 40 anesthetizing sites including 24 main operating rooms, 6 procedure rooms, 3 OB suites, 6 procedure rooms and a variety of out of department locations (EP, TAVRs, Hybrid MRI). This hospital serves the flourishing and lively Raleigh, NC community. The Anesthesia Department is composed of approximately 30 anesthesiologists, 80+ CRNAs and has an affiliation with the UNC Greensboro School of Nurse Anesthesia. We practice in a care team model in a collegial atmosphere that allows us to effectively care for our patients in 25 subspecialties, including General, Ortho, Neuro, EP, Vascular, Thoracic, Cardiac, Bariatrics, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, and limited pediatrics. Located in the center of the state, Raleigh in close proximity to Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill, NC and is considered part of the "Triangle." Just ten minutes away from a world-class international airport with direct flights to London and Paris, the area offers great shopping, dining, entertainment, breweries, food halls, etc. It's also only a two-hour drive to the beach and a three-hour drive to the mountains. Responsibilities • Case assignments: Cardiac, pediatrics, OBGYN, general, plastics, urology, and vascular • Pre-anesthesia assessment • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition • Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements • Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program • Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines Salary: $210,000 -$260,000 Sign-on Incentives (Bonus, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $75K EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
