Position Requirements Description Cardiac Anesthesiologist opening at regional tertiary-care, teaching, and research center in Newark, NJ, a short distance from Manhattan. Total Rewards Salary: $535K Cardiac Stipend: $25K Sign-on Incentive: Up to $100K Comprehensive benefits package: • Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Generous paid time off • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Loan repayment & training assistance available Case Assignments & Schedule • Schedule: Only cardiac call, call pool is shared with St Josephs Regional • General surgery, ortho, vascular, GYN, NORA, endo Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine • TEE proficiency is required • Completion of Cardiac Fellowship • ECFMG and FLEX • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia • Currently licensed as a physician EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
